Feature in ArtScope March/April 2016

Don Wilkinson wrote about my Madonna Quartet in the latest issue of Artscope. Here's what he said:

"'Madonna Quartet,' a black-and-white mixed-media work by Mimi Reilly, makes obvious reference to Andy Warhol, both with the celebration of celebrity and with multiple imagery. There are 16 images of the Material Girl (or perhaps some other Madonna?) with bobbed hair and eyeglasses on, in grid formation... No two are exactly the same. A few feature a crisp and elegant drawing style, an almost proper portraiture, while others are overdrawn, obscured or obliterated."
